Comedian Finbarr Coveney will be walking 120 miles from his home in Tramore Co. Waterford to the Help Kayley Walk Comedy Night in the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan Co. Meath taking place on July 1st where he will appear with a host of other great comedy stand up acts including Pj Gallagher, Paul Tylak, Kevin Kildea, Pat OConnell and Karl Spain..among many other up and coming stand up acts.
He is Leaving on the 27th June and should arrive on the 1st of Julythe day of the gig.

Finbarr Coveney is starting his mammoth 120mile walk for Kayley this Sunday. He leaves Tramore and heads on up through Thomastown, Carlow, Naas, Trim and finally Navan for the 1st of July where he will be performing at the Stand Up Comedy Night in the Ardboyne Hotel, so join his facebook page for updates and keep an eye out in the newspapers for him and please give him lots of support and encouragement if you can. .
Finbarr and his mate Leon Sheehan completed their 120 mile walk on Thursday, 1st July. Myself, Jacky and Kayley went out to meet them and walk the final 10 minutes back into town. A well deserved pint was had by the lads in the Stonehouse in Navan town, where they met Mickey and Minnie mouse :) - Later that night Finbarr also took part in the comedy gig, along with 9 other top Irish comics. Brilliant night, and fair play to both lads for never giving up on this great journey :)
UPDATE:
Finbarr was joined on this epic journey by his pal Leon Sheehan. The lads arrived in Carlow just before 9pm on Monday evening, June 27th. Many a blister on their feet, but they're determined to soldier on. A nice cool glass of bubbly in the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow town helped ease the pain a little :)
