June 8th 2010 - Flora women's mini marathonWhat a great day had by all, in spite of the rain that lashed down on us all! It was brilliant to hear Help Kayley Walk announced by Ruthy Scott (mc) at the start thanks to our joggers from Carlow (thanks girlies!) We stayed in good spirits and got around the 10k and made the finish line in just under 2hrs. Before crossing the finish line we got ourselves up on the big screen by jumping and waving like lunatics and got Help Kayley Walk mentioned again! It was a great boost !The rain didnt let up afterwards and we could be found afterwards huddled under a huge tree in St Stephens Green planning our next course of action what pub could we dash to (lol!)Thanks to all the fantastic people that took part in the mini marathon on behalf of Help Kayley Walk. I really enjoyed the day and having such great company and great people to do it with, and already am looking forward to doing it next year.
